As of July 2025, those with PWD-IDC can get a 20% discount on goods and services from establishments such as medicine, medical treatments, transportation fees, and educational fees.
Additionally, this discount also applies to the purchase of products and services for the exclusive use of the person with disabilities.

Before using the PWD-IDC to avail of its benefits, it is recommended to first check for the validity of the ID.
As of July 2025, you can visit the Department of Health’s Philippine Registry for Persons with Disability and input the ID number on your PWD-IDC. If the ID is valid, it should provide the same information that is present on the card.
