Scleroderma has changed the trajectory of her life— a journey that has made her closer to her family and God.

Despite living with the condition for nearly two decades, Dr. Ortiz managed to advance her career and to take care of her family. As one of the founders of Scleroderma Awareness Philippines, a support and advocacy group for Filipinos with Scleroderma, her story offers a powerful reflection on resilience, faith, and service.
